Our Winner!

We received over 1,300 submissions to our "best new photographer" contest, and we have to tell you, it was almost impossible to pick a winner! But, after much hard work, deliberation, and not a few sleepless nights of intense lobbying by some very attractive models, we finally chose this image, submitted by George W. Charmichael of Chattsworth, California!

Congrats, George! This shot epitomizes what it means to be an up-and-coming photographer. Your use of the backdrop to contrast the model's creamy skin is perfect. The accessorization of the caution tape with the electrical tape is a stroke of genius and the guitar sets off the schoolgirl skirt perfectly.

We have no idea why you let the model keep her lunch in the shot, though, but we're not arguing!
